Both Karachi and Lahore are determined to bounce back quickly and overcome disappointing losses early in the season. Karachi especially had a poor start to PSL 2022 as they lost their first two matches in the tournament. Batting has been a huge issue for Karachi in the first two games as they were unable to score runs on a flat track. Their score in the first game was 124/5 and last night against Quetta they were bowled out for just 113. ,Islamabad United defeated Peshawar Zalmi in their only match of the tournament so far and are currently second on the points table. United outplayed Zalmi with a first-class performance in all three departments of the game.
